9 September – Frome Agricultural Show, Frome, Somerset

“We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed your brilliant show you put on yesterday at the Frome Show. We were so impressed with the demonstration of the gundog skills that you presented, and were very amused, as were the rest of the audience, with the tricks that were shown. Hilarious and great fun for the children!
What was of great interest to us, however, were the methods of training a dog that you presented. This, for us, was very informative and taught us many things that we had not thought of ourselves.
It would be great to see you at our local show, Shaftesbury and Gillingham, next year if you feel you are able to attend.

Today we watched an educational, entertaining and really enjoyable demonstration by Stephen and his team.
He passed on a wealth of knowledge in dog handling and training in the most amusing way which captured the attention of the whole audience and watching his dogs want to do well for him was quite inspirational.

9 August – Thornton Le Dale Country Show, North Yorkshire

We visited the Thornton le Dale show today and the highlight of our day was Stephen and his fantastic team of both stunning dogs and knowledgeable humans. We now have the ability to further our learning through your website so we can put your training ideas into practice when we get our longed for puppy.
Thank you so much for your insight into the mind of our canine friends. A word to everyone, if this man and his gundogs are at a show near you then forget all the other attractions, this is the one to watch! – D Shah

Get yourself a TV program so other dog owners can benefit from your teachings. I do not think you have a big enough audience, all ‘would be’  owners need to follow your methods, after all our pets will be so grateful and no one would have to listen to an owner screaming their dogs name when out for a walk! 6 August – Wessex Country Fair, Wilton House, Salisbury 

We’ve just returned from a wonderful day at the Wessex Country Fair. The highlight for us was definitely Stephen Harrison and his dogs of One Man and His Gun Dogs. What a captivating and entertaining performance! We were astonished that such young dogs could be so obedient and the older, more experienced dogs were beautiful to watch. We loved the meerkat too! 15 July – Codford Fete, Codford, Wiltshire

What brilliant family entertainment! Congratulations to all the dogs for a fantastic performance that kept us amused and laughing throughout. I particularly loved the “stealing the sausage” trick – amazing! The bloke with the hat on was quite good too!  – Jeanette Elliott, Codford

Congratulations on a great show on Saturday, so wonderfully entertaining. I wonder if people realise just how much hard work goes into that?  It had many layers from younger to older dog, gundog skills – and then the tricks – stunning.  Kim and her puppy were great. One of my favourite moments was when the children were shouting when Daisy was pinching the sausage behind your back. That was so clever, we were killing ourselves laughing. I thought it was useful for people to see you correct Poppy, it was all fabulous! – Sarah Terry, Longbridge Deverill

I, like many others, very much enjoyed Stephen’s gundog display and fun dog show at the Codford fete. Having seen his fantastic dogs perform before, they did not disappoint! It was wonderful to see the younger dogs demonstrating the training techniques whilst Poppy and Daisy dazzled the crowd with their advanced gundog skills and impressive array of tricks. I still have no idea how you train a dog to retrieve a sausage or reverse into an open door! The dogs are so focused on him and you can see how much they enjoy working for their dad, a joy to watch! Following the display, Stephen ran the fun dog show which was not your average ‘waggiest tail’. Very entertaining classes and great to see something different with the inclusion of obedience (or an attempt to!), Temptation Alley, Relay Race and Find the Sausage certainly had everyone laughing. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon, thank you Stephen. – Emma Woodland, Codford

18 June – Evershot Country Fair

“What an amazing day and an amazing performance. Thank you for everything you did today, you were all brilliant and such friendly and lovely people and the dogs were too, they did an amazing job in the weather so please thank them too from all of us at Evershot Country Fair. 

We would love to have you back with us next year, so please let me know if you are available.

I have heard so much positive feedback about yourself and the dogs: the sausage and collar trick was simply stunning, went down a treat and was loved by all! Again, thank you to you and your team, we wouldn’t have been able to do it with out you!
