Most dog owners understand the need for Fido to be exercised – hence the traditional British country walk. But what fewer people realise is that Fido needs mental stimulation just as much (if not more) than physical exercise .

We can tire Fido by challenging the brain with fun, high tempo, unpredictable training exercises in an area no bigger than the average kitchen in 10-15 minutes more than you’ll tire him on a one hour walk, I promise.

So, if it’s raining, or just to ring the changes, why not plan and try a short, sharp training session in the garden for 10 minutes. Fido will love this, he’ll learn more, your training techniques will improve and he’ll be more tired than the average, predictable walk will ever achieve.

4 benefits from a shorter time in less space. Now that is a bargain!
