Little Daisy, who is not yet 8 months old, is now almost fully grown – at least physically! She is still, of course, a puppy at heart and displays all the behaviours you would expect in puppyhood. But it now means that our routine on “How to train a puppy” lacks a little credibility when she charges in to the ring! She’s so big now that Poppy can walk under her (material for another trick, perhaps?).
The other thing that leaves me in no doubt that she is no longer the little ball of fur I held a few months ago is that there are signs that she’s about to have her first season! Time to be watchful.
