Your dog’s name is precious …

So often I hear people using their dog’s name as a telling off (remember Fenton chasing the deer!). If you need to correct your dog, choose another word or sound. “No!” works for me.  Use the dog’s name in a soft and kind way. What we don’t want is Fido to associate his name with something negative. Keep your dog’s name precious.
